Background
Building applications are complicated and full of forms, requirements and documents that most people rarely deal with. Many give up or make mistakes along the way, and professional help quickly costs more than the project justifies.
Omlio wanted to make applications that do not require a certified professional understandable and manageable for private individuals, at a fixed, low price per type of project, with the option to order help where needed.
The solution
We developed a web platform where a wizard guides the user step by step through the project, checks key matters against the regulations, and generates a complete document package ready for neighbour notification and submission to the municipality.
- BankID login. Secure identification and safe handling of personal information.
- Data from public registers. Retrieves property and zoning data automatically.
- AI generation. Checks the project and produces the project statement, dispensation application and other documents.
- Step-by-step wizard. Covers extensions, detached buildings, change of use, agricultural buildings and demolition, with a fixed price per type of project.
- Help within the steps. Drawings, digital neighbour notification and consultancy support can be ordered directly in the flow.
- Connection to tradespeople. The finished document package can be sent as a request for quotation to local tradespeople, per trade.
The result
Omlio is in operation at omlio.studiox.tech and lets private individuals produce professional application documents themselves, with guidance that reduces the work from days to hours, and a route on to a consultant when the project requires it.
