Background
When an environmental incident hits the coast, much depends on how quickly volunteers can be alerted, organised and put to work. Ren Kyst is the tool that brings volunteer preparedness together.
NovuMare had an existing solution, and STUDIO X has taken responsibility for the next stage: further development, improvements and ongoing operations, with a clear plan for the road ahead.
The solution
The solution consists of an app where volunteers are alerted and sign up to take part, and an admin panel where operations are coordinated.
- Push notifications. Volunteers are alerted in a targeted way when an incident occurs, with more alert channels in development.
- Coordination. An admin panel for organising operations and following up the effort.
- Engagement statistics. Insight into participation and activity, for reporting and motivation.
- Operations with responsibility. STUDIO X operates the solution on an ongoing basis, with an operations agreement and regular follow-up.
The result
A preparedness solution in operation, where volunteer efforts along the coast are organised faster and more precisely. Further development continues in close collaboration with NovuMare.
