The timeline depends on scope. An MVP with a defined set of core features, role-based access and a few integrations is faster than a full case management or professional system. We deliver in sprints so parts go live along the way, you do not wait for the first benefit.
In the vast majority of projects we develop custom, and you then own the full source code, databases and infrastructure. We clarify ownership before signing an agreement, so it is clear from the start. Some solutions we build on a shared platform or on components we have made before (for example our App Studio platform), and the model can then be a little different, which we flag up front. How important ownership is also varies: for a startup it is often essential to own the code yourself, while for a municipality or organisation it tends to be more about reliable operations, stability and a supplier they trust over time. Either way we build with open, well-documented technologies (TypeScript, Postgres, Next.js, React) and set up a clean handover, so no one is locked in against their will.
