Background
Service og Montasje is a nationwide service network for assistive technology and medical equipment: several partner companies and dozens of technicians carrying out servicing, installation and periodic inspections for assistive technology centres, municipalities and institutions.
Jobs, follow-up and invoicing data were held together with spreadsheets, email and manual routines. That meant duplicated work and little overview, and the need was one system covering everything from order to completed job, both at the office and out with the technicians in the field.
The solution
We developed a complete platform with an admin interface for the central administration and a field-friendly app for the technicians, designed around the workflow in the network.
- Admin interface. Order list with search, filtering and assignment of jobs to the right partner company, with map, calendar and log.
- Technician app in the field. PWA with offline support, documentation with photos and electronic signature, synchronised when coverage returns.
- AI-read order intake. Orders that arrive as PDFs by email are interpreted automatically and approved with one click, instead of being keyed in by hand.
- Role management for the whole network. Six roles, from central administration and partner companies to the client's own staff, with customisable access and a log.
- Invoicing data. Hours, mileage and parts are collected per job, with export to PowerOffice and Tripletex (Norwegian accounting systems).
- Next phase: periodic inspection. An equipment database for tens of thousands of units with QR codes, checklists and a dedicated customer portal, in development.
The result
Service og Montasje gets jobs, inspections and invoicing data in one system that is simpler than the spreadsheets it replaces, with a field tool the technicians use where the work is done.
